Care & Early Years

Select a course below for further information

Foundation Degree in Early Years Childcare and Education A significant proportion of the programme is work-based with students supported by regular college attendance at work with the support of college staff and work place mentors. This model of learning at college allows students to remain in employment whilst completing their qualification.

It is essential that each student has the full support of an employer. The employer will need to provide 'mentorship' throughout the student's programme of study

Foundation Degree in Supporting Learning and Teaching This course has been designed to provide a flexible programme that will meet the needs of all those individuals currently working to support teaching and learning

It is particularly suitable for teaching assistants, learning support workers and volunteers who require a professional development programme linked to a recognised undergraduate qualification and an opportunity to achieve the HLTA National Standards

Transition Course for Foundation Degrees The course is tailored to students who would benefit from a general introduction to the College and its resources and provides the skills to successfully engage with study at the Higher Education levels.
