Carshalton College - new build leisure facility

A new state-of-the-art £4million leisure centre is being built at the College by our partner Pulse Fitness that will feature an 18m swimming pool, thermal suite, sports hall, quality changing facilities, studios and a 70 station Pulse fitness suite.  It is an anticipated that it will open summer 2010.

Students will have exclusive use of the sports hall during the day.  The hall can be used for a variety of sports including, badminton, netball, 5-a-side football, basketball and cricket nets.  The hall will provide an exciting venue for entertainment events such as concerts, dance demonstrations and award ceremonies.

A new student common room will be available for all students plus a fully equipped games room with table tennis and pool.

Students will be able to take up membership to access all the fitness centre facilities although swimming sessions and use of the fitness machines and dance studios will be arranged as part of course timetables.
