Description of the Course

This course provides a substantial part of training and underpinning knowledge for electrical installation work to assist in qualifying as an electrician within the industry.

Course content

  • Working effectively and safely in the electrotechnical environment.
  • Principles of electrotechnology.
  • Installation (Buildings and Structures).

Assessment

Practical assignments and written tests by multiple choice questions. On site assessment.

Who is the course for?

This course is designed for people working within the electrical contracting and associated industries for buildings and structures.

Entry requirements

An average of Grade C for 3 or more GCSEs to include maths, Science and English or in relevant employment within the electrical installation industry. You will also be asked to demonstrate your commitment and skills in an interview and assessment. If you do not have the required entry qualifications there will be an opportunity for you to demonstrate your abilities at the interview.
