01. Certificate in Electrotechnology Level 2 C&G stage 1&2 2330 This course provides a substantial part of training and underpinning knowledge for electrical installation work to assist in qualifying as an electrician within the industry.

02. Level 2 Certificate for Domestic Electrical Installers This course is designed for those who need to comply with Part P of the buildings regulations and prove that they are competent to carry out electrical work in dwellings.This qualification will allow candidates to become members of a competent persons scheme.

03. Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) This course provides information on the in-service, inspection and testing of Electrical Equipment as detailed by the I.E.E. Code of Practice.

04. Level 3 City and Guilds 2393 The course is designed to meet the needs of candidates who work in the Building service engineering sector, such as Electricians, who need to be able to demonstrate knowledge of building regulations for electrical installations in dwellings and associated areas, in England and Wales.

Due to differences in building regulations in Northern Ireland and Scotland this qualification is only suitable for those working in England and Wales.

05.NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation. This course is designed for students who wish to obtain the NVQ Level 3 qualification for the completion of their training. The qualification is also a requirement of the Joint Industry Board for those wishing to be graded as a technician or an electrician.

07. City & Guilds 17th Edition Wiring Regulations - 2382-10 Provides you with the latest information on the Wiring Regulations enabling you to comply with your legal responsibilities

08.Fundamental Inspection, Testing & Initial Verification of Electrical Installations This is a Nationally recognised qualification that meets the requirements of the NICEIC and other Electrical Bodies for registration onto a Competent Persons Scheme

09. Periodic Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical The National Inspection Council For Electrical Installations recognise the Certificate as the requirements for qualifying managers and operatives involved in testing and certification of Electrical Installations.

10. City & Guilds 2391-02 Design, Erection & Verification The National Inspection Council for Electrical Installations recognizes the Certificate as the requirements for qualifying managers and designers.

Asbestos in the Workplace - Awareness Training & Assessment

This training and assessment course concentrates on making construction operatives aware of the hazards and health & safety requirements for themselves and others when encountering asbestos material in the workplace.

Safe Working at Heights

The Safe Working at heights course (WAH) has been implemented to comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and other legislation, which impacts on height and safety.

 

The course objectives are to provide the learner with the skills and knowledge to work safely at heights. Upon completion of the WAH course the learner will be able to;

  • Explain the procedures and standards for working at heights
  • Identify workers safety requirements to conform to legislation and best practice
  • Demonstrate and explain how to carry our inspection of WAH equipment
  • Be able to use and demonstrate WAH equipment safely at height.
