VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques

This course is designed for people who are interested in developing the skills and knowledge required to become a Beauty Therapist. This course is delivered by industry-experienced Beauty Therapists.

Students on this course will be invited to attend cross-college events that will develop their job skills. Examples of previous events students have attended are:

Professional Beauty @ Excel (Trade Exhibition) Product Training with Mooeys Waxing & Eve Taylor Work experience, external and on-site Guest speaker programme

  • Entry Requirements


    We will invite you to a Meet the Tutor event where you will receive information, advice, and guidance about the course you have applied for. This will be an opportunity for you to gain valuable information about the course and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

    You will provide a copy of your last school report and / or a reference from an employer or relevant professional other. This is to ensure we can support you to be able to achieve well on the course.

    4 x GCSE's at D/3 or above, or a Level 1 Certificate in a relevant subject.

    Your GCSE profile must include either maths and / or English , or a Functional Skills qualification in maths and / or English.

  • Additional Information


    You will be required to wear your uniform at all times whilst in College You will need to have your hair clipped back if short or tied back if long, and off the face. No jewellery is permitted, this includes facial piercings and tongue piercings. Clear retainers can be worn. Nails must be short and clean of all nail polish. Nail extensions are not permitted. *100% attendance is expected

  • Course Structure


    Minimum three GCSEs at Grade A-D including English and Science/PE.
