Evening option: Wednesdays 6.00pm-9.00pm for the first two terms then on a Thursday evening 6pm-9pm as well
Daytime option: Wednesday 9.30am - 12.30pm for the first two terms then in the last term 1pm - 4pm as well

Description of the course
Accountants help businesses large and small to manage their money properly. It takes a business brain, as well as a way with numbers, to get ahead. You might be keeping track of one person's finances or a global corporation's, so there's a lot of variety. You could work for any type of business record companies, major manufacturers, charities .Of course, you won't reach accountant status immediately.
Most Apprentices qualify as accounts assistants, credit control clerks, accounts clerks, or finance assistants, who all help accountants to keep financial records and prepare accounts.
Assessments
Candidates must successful complete:
- Five computer-based exams
- One case study

A minimum of Grade D GCSE in English and Mathematics or have successfully completed a Level 1 programme. If you don't have the required entry qualifications there will be an opportunity for you to demonstrate your abilities to undertake the course.
Anyone working a minimum of 16 hours a week paid employment in the accounting field
This course currently incurs no fees for 16-18 year old student. An Employer fee will be charged for 19+ and Adult Apprentices.
