Description of the course

The Level 3 Award in Lash Extensions is a course that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in how to apply individual permanent lashes.

This course will enable learners to develop a sound knowledge of health and safety practice in a salon environment, and how to promote client care and communication in beauty therapy related industries.

You will also develop the underpinning knowledge and understanding of the practical skills learned throughout this course.

Assessments

The unit will be assessed by practical tasks and knowledge and understanding in an online test.

You could progress onto other short courses to enhance your skills, or enrol onto a full time Level 3 course

During the course you will learn about:

Health & Safety
The importance of using products, tools and equipment
Contra indications & contra actions
How to apply the individual lashes
Anatomy & Physiology of the hair
Aftercare advice

No formal qualifications are necessary but students who do not hold a recognised health and safety qualification will need to take the Level 2 Award in Follow Health and Safety Practices before or during completing this qualification.

This course is designed for therapists already in Industry or those looking to learn a new skill.

This course will be run twice a year:

September to December and January to March

To enrol on this course you will be required to buy a uniform which will cost £50.00
