Carshalton College is hosting a Higher Education Information Evening on Thursday 26 April from 6.30pm to 8.30pm to provide information on their Foundation Degree in Electrotechnical Industries.

Engineering in Electrotechnical Industries has been developed to fill the gap left by the disappearance of traditional routes for qualified and skilled electricians to develop professionally. The course includes research, planning, presentations and IT skills, all skills necessary for forward looking engineering businesses, in addition to health and safety and math modules. Up to date developments in building services are discussed to look at the role of electrical services in the modern energy-efficient world.

Carshalton College offers the degree in partnership with the London South Bank University and the course can be completed studying part time at evenings and weekends. This qualification is designed to give learners the opportunity to progress beyond Level 3 to Honours Degree and engineer status through IET.

As the main provider of Higher Education in the London Borough of Sutton, the College has over 50 years experience in providing vocational courses for students of all ages and abilities to realise their ambitions.

Our Information Evenings are informal events welcoming visitors to the College who would like to find out more about the Foundation Degrees on offer.  The event provides a great opportunity to find out more about the degree course content, meet the tutors and talk to current students.
