Two students from Carshalton College have entered work into the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in the A Level section. The 2012 exhibition will be live on the Royal Academy website from 4 June to 12 August, showing at the same time as the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the world’s largest open-submission contemporary art show.

Patrick Emmerson from the BTEC Level 3 Art and Design course has entered three black and white photographs titled Number 1, Still Standing and Walking the Path. Jordan Wills from the BTEC Level 3 Games Development course has entered a short animation entitled ‘Being…’.

The students now face fierce competition from other schools and colleges around the country to be accepted into the exhibition.
