Student Progression Reaching New Heights

As the academic year comes to an end, Carshalton College is pleased to announce over 150 students have made UCAS applications to progress onto University.

The College offers full and part time courses in Further and Higher Education along with Apprenticeships and work based training. On completion, students have the opportunity to go straight to work with industry led experience or progress onto Higher Education at Colleges or Universities.

Our Advice and Guidance Centre play a key role in students choosing to continue their studies. The team based on site provide information, advice and guidance regarding a range of issues or support that students may need. Advice and Guidance has Matrix Accreditation, an industry award scheme for facilities meeting their standard for effective delivery of information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work.

The College’s mission statement is to enable individuals to realise their ambitions through learning and skills development. Jeri Wagner, Advice and Guidance Officer commented on this year’s progression statistics

It is great to see so many of the students choosing to carry on their education after becoming passionate about a subject at Carshalton College if they feel it is right for them. We hope to provide each student with the tools to develop and research all possibilities, taking their ambitions beyond their expectations. Learning is available to everyone in different formats to suit each individual.
