FL BTEC Level 1 Diploma in Health and Social Care The BTEC introductory Diploma is designed to encourage you to develop the personal skills and qualities you need for work, learning and to help you achieve your full potential. BTEC L1 Diploma qualifications are intended as practical 'hands on' programmes with each one taught in the context of real jobs and careers in a chosen vocational sector. Foundation Learning is the new format for entry level and level one programs, it is made up of  a BTEC Diploma in Caring for Children, a BTEC Award in Personal and Social Development, a BTEC Certificate in Work Skills and Functional Skills in Math’s, English and ICT.
