Description of the Course
This one year full-time course is nationally recognised as being the equivalent to 4 GCSEs at grades A* - C. It has been designed for people who wish to progress to an advanced vocational qualification, A Levels or NVQ Level 3, or for those who wish to go straight into employment.
Course content
You will study a variety of business related subjects designed to equip you with the necessary skills to gain employment or to progress to the level 3 qualification. The emphasis is on coursework over the year, there are no external examinations.
Assessment
Coursework, practical projects, time constrained assignments.
Who is the course for?
Anyone over the age of 16 years with a satisfactory school/college/employer report.
Entry requirements
An average of Grade D for 3 or more GCSEs including English and Maths. You may also be asked to demonstrate your commitment and skills in an interview. If you don’t have the required entry qualifications there will be an opportunity for you to demonstrate your abilities to undertake the course.
