Description of the Course
This course is intended for those students who wish to train and obtain underpinning knowledge in electrical installation work to enable them to find related employment within the construction and associated industries.
Course content
- Working effectively and safely in the electrotechnical environment.
- Principles of electrotechnology.
- Application of Health & Safety and electrical principles.
- Installation (Buildings and Structures).
Assessment
Practical assignments, multiple choice questions and written coursework.
Who is the course for?
Students interested in a career within the electrical contracting and associated industries.
Entry requirements
3 or more GCSEs including Mathematics, Science and English Language at Grade C or sucessfully completed a Level 1 programme.
