Description of the Course
BTEC Diploma offers a specialist qualification that focuses on particular aspects of employment. The qualification has been developed in the IT sector to focus on education and training for employees working in ICT related occupations. It provides opportunities for employees in the ICT sector to achieve a nationally recognised Level 2 vocationally specific qualification.

Who is the course for?
This course is designed to provide the education and training for IT Practitioners who are employed or wish to be employed in a variety of types of IT Software Development roles.
Entry requirements
An average of Grade D in 3 or more GCSEs including English & Maths or a merit on a Level 1 vocational programme. You may also be asked to demonstrate your commitment and skills in an interview. If you do not have the required entry qualifications there will be an opportunity for you to demonstrate your abilities to undertake the course.
