ITEC Level 4 - Non-Medical Aesthetic Skin Peeling

On July 31st the UK government is changing the regulations of treatments in the Aesthetics sector. Now, all practitioners must have an awarding body certificate of competence and a UK practitioner licence. This qualification is a short course, designed for practicing skin specialists who are currently preforming skin specialist treatments in a clinic, who will now require this upskill of documentation to continue to practice post July 2023. It is also suitable for qualified Level 3 Therapists who wish to embark on furthering their education in the Aesthetics sector.

The course is a blend of theory and practical element covering a range of peels and treatment areas.

The qualification covers all non-medical skin peeling treatments for the face and body including treatment of: Skin rejuvenation, superficial blemishes, pigmentation, skin texture and hydration. Candidates will be trained on Peeling treatments for the face and body and STC has invested in the full range of retail and clinic based professional products for use in case studies and in exams. All products and devises are supplied for the training in house.

  • Entry Requirements


    Candidate applying for this course must have the following entry requirements as a minimum:

    1. A full UK Level 3 Beauty Therapy Diploma or specific units in Facial Electrical services and Anatomy and Physiology at this level.
    2. Be working currently in the aesthetic or Beauty industry.
  • Course Content


    This course covers all elements of the theory of skin peeling and advanced Anatomy, Physiology and Microbiology of the skin.

    1. Theory Exam
    2. Practical externally assessed exam within STC
    3. Short case studies of skin peeling on different areas of the face and body.

  • Progression Next Steps


    Progression following this course would naturally be in the Aesthetic industry as a practitioner or those who wish to continue studying could embark on our levels 5, 6 and 7 to be introduced in 24/25
