City & Guilds 6035-02 Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing Studies

This course will give you a ladder to a career in plumbing. You'll learn how to install, test and maintain hot and cold pipework and heating systems. The course will test practical and knowledge-based skills. A mixture of theory and practical and examinations, You'll have visits to trade shows to help you see the latest developments in the industry. Our guest speakers are already successful in their roles and their advice will give you the inside view of what it's like to succeed and what employers are looking for.

  • Entry Requirements


    We will invite you to a 'Meet the Tutor' event where you will receive information, advice, and guidance about the course you have applied for. This will be an opportunity for you to gain valuable information about the course and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

    You will provide a copy of your last school report and / or a reference from an employer or relevant professional other. This is to ensure we can support you to be able to achieve well on the course.

    4 x GCSE's at D/3 or above, or a Level 1 qualification in a relevant subject.

    Your GCSE profile must include either maths and / or English , or a Functional Skills qualification in maths and / or English.

    Move up to the Level 3 Plumbing City & Guilds course or find work as an improver or plumber's mate. Or look for a plumbing apprenticeship.
