For anyone aged 19+ who has a business idea and wants to get started. This is a free 45 hour Level 2 programme delivered 1 day a week over 4 weeks plus preparatory and on-course work. No prior experience or qualifications are required, you just need a business idea which we will help you work into a full business plan. All workshops are practical and delivered by entrepreneurs. Participants leave with a) a practical business plan and b) access to free, regular specialist seminars.

We are running this programme in partnership with Visionnaires, a team of 'start-up' specialists. Successful completion of the programme earns you the right to promote your business on www.visionnaires.ac.uk/marketplace.

  • Entry Requirements


    You need the beginnings of a business idea. We can then work with you to develop the idea. You need to be aged 19+ We'll need to carry out a fee assessment to check that funding is available for you.

  • Additional Information


    Start-ups & self-employment are critical to the economy. They create 40% of all new jobs, and lead recovery from recessions. But, too many ideas are left on the shelf due to lack of access to specialist expertise. This programme will provide you with the confidence, contacts and support you'll need to bring your idea to life.

  • Course Structure


    The programme is run entirely online, using a range of virtual teaching and learning strategies, including live interactive webinars. You will need access to a PC/Tablet device and to be available for one full day each week for five weeks.

  • Assessment Details


    There is no formal assessment but we will work closely with you to help you develop your business plan with a view to you setting up 'live' as soon as possible.
